Ides 63: Radicle Red IPA - Henderson Brewing Co.
The radicle is the first part of a seedling to emerge from the seed. And so our Radicle Red IPA brings together an emerging artist and a brewer, collaborating in celebration of the 60th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
Started in 1961 by Murray and Maravelle Koffler, the TOAF has helped launch numerous careers. Notable artists such as Ken Danby, David Blackwood, Joanne Tod, Jennifer Stead and Harlan House exhibited here during early stages of their careers, and in 2021 Varvara Nedilska did the same, winning the Best of Student award.
Says Varvara: “My illustration reflects on the role beer has played in my life and the way I’ve seen it bring friends together during the pandemic, watching the sun go down together while sharing a drink.”
We hope you’ll agree that this Radicle Red IPA is a work of art in its own right!
Marking Time - Lightcaster Brewery
West Coast Pilsner
Surfin’ Cerveza - Wave Maker Craft Brewery
Crisp, clean, and endlessly refreshing, this Mexican-style lager is brewed for easygoing days and sunny vibes. Light-bodied with a gentle malt sweetness and a subtle touch of corn, it finishes dry with a smooth, thirst-quenching snap.
Season of Evil - Third Moon Brewing Co.
"Season Of Evil" is our 6.5% ABV Hazy IPA brewed with wheat and oats that we hopped with a terrifying amount of Motueka from Freestyle as well as our hand-selected Simcoe.
Better Together - Silversmith Brewing Co. X Blackburn Beer Co.
This limited-release West Coast Pilsner is the second annual Niagara collab drop between Blackburn X Silversmith. Built on a clean, classic pislner malt body, it is dry and refreshing with just the right amount of tradition. Then we’ve contrasted the heritage with bright West Coast citrus hops that bring a burst of aroma, sunshine, tropical fruits and a hint of white wine. Fermented with clean German lager yeast, the finish is crisp, balanced and endlessly drinkable.
Winter White Stout - Grain & Grit
A holiday staple at Grain & Grit, this seasonal brew is packed with festive flavours to get you in the spirit. Brewed with candy cane, cacao, and oats, Winter White Stout has creamy peppermint and milk chocolate vibes, reminiscent of a YORK Peppermint Pattie.
Dreamscape - Halo Brewery
Soft toasty/bready malt aromas up front, with a subtle malt sweetness and a nice medium body in each sip. Low hop presence but enough to excite the pallet. Dreamscape is a nice and easy sipping brew, refreshing and clean.
November (2025) DIPA - Badlands Brewing
For our November DIPA we brought out 2 big “N” hops from New Zealand: Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin. It is splendid.
Drenched in dank gooseberry, pineapple and tropical grape
Oatmeal Stout - Avling Brewery
Deep, roasty, and rich with aromas of chocolate-dipped cherries and coffee crema. Velvety smooth with an espresso-kissed finish.
