FACTS: The gorgeously rich yet dry body of DEVILISH is complimented by the addition of all organic vanilla grown in Madagascar.
TART, TANGY AND SWEET, WITH RICH NOTES OF STONE FRUIT AND CHERRY.

- FLAVOUR & AROMA: Cherry and plum, spice, intensely sour
PAIRING: Rich desserts, strong cheeses, spicy dishes
FACTS: This beer is "kettle-soured," or fermented halfway through the brewing process with a culture of lactic-acid producing organisms, then fermented with our house Belgian yeast; dark sweet cherry was added to the beer near the end of fermentation.
We absolutely loved the "Complicated" Sour. It's the type of sour that people who don't typically like sours will enjoy; while at the same time being enjoyed by people who do love sours. It has a very smooth finish with strong hints of the added sweet cherry.
As for the "Devilish" spiced saison... not so much. As you can see from the description, it was definitely full of a lot of flavors but they just didn't seem to blend well, most notably, the vanilla. I'm sure some people will like this beer but it wasn't for us.
